Chopping Board Resurfacing & Restoration

At Seaside Sawdust, we believe great boards shouldn’t be replaced — they should be maintained.

Over time, even the highest-quality wooden chopping boards can become worn, dry, or marked from regular use. Our resurfacing service restores your board to a smooth, food-safe finish, helping it look and perform like new again.

What’s Included

Each board is carefully restored using a professional process:

  • Full surface sanding to remove marks, stains, and knife scoring
  • Edge refinement and smoothing
  • Re-oiling using food-safe Osmo Top Oil
  • Final finish to protect and enhance the natural grain

Your board is returned clean, protected, and ready for use.

Charcuterie / Serving Boards (25mm thick)

  • Small (300 × 150mm): £25
  • Medium (400 × 180mm): £35
  • Large (600 × 200mm): £45

Chopping Boards (40mm thick)

  • Small (300 × 250mm): £45
  • Standard (400 × 300mm): £55
  • Large (500 × 350mm): £65
  • XL (600 × 385mm): £70

For heavily worn or damaged boards, a small additional charge may apply — we will always confirm this in advance.

Collection & Drop-Off

  • Local drop-off available
  • Collection and delivery can be arranged (charges may apply depending on location)

Turnaround Time

Most boards are completed within 3–5 days, depending on workload and drying time.

Commercial Kitchen Maintenance

We also work with restaurants and commercial kitchens to maintain boards on a regular basis.

Instead of replacing boards, we provide a scheduled resurfacing service to keep them safe, hygienic, and looking professional.
